The fire incident that occurred at the Pertamina Depot in Plumpang, North Jakarta, has caused significant damage, destroying residents' homes in the surrounding RW 09/RT 01 area. This fire was triggered by a gas explosion that damaged many buildings and forced hundreds of residents to evacuate their homes. Purpose of the Review by the SLE Foundation Care Team
In response to this crisis, the SLE Foundation Care team was sent to the fire site to assess the situation and the needs of the affected residents. The main goal of this review is to directly understand the extent of the damage experienced and identify the urgent needs of those who have lost their homes. The team conducted an initial survey as a basis for organizing appropriate assistance based on the conditions on the ground.

Assistance Distribution Plan: Prioritizing Urgent Needs
Based on the results of the review, SLE Foundation Care will plan and organize assistance that includes food packages, clean water, sanitation supplies, clothing, and health services. This emergency assistance aims to alleviate the burdens of those affected by the fire in the coming weeks, ensuring they have access to basic necessities during the recovery period
Collaboration with Volunteers and Related Parties for Long-Term Recovery
In addition to immediate aid, SLE Foundation Care will collaborate with local volunteers and humanitarian organizations to develop more sustainable recovery programs. The primary focus of this program is to support residents in rebuilding their lives, including psychological recovery and providing guidance on disaster mitigation to enhance community preparedness for the future.
