Jakarta, tvOnenews.com – PT Sentosa Laju Energi, through the SLE Foundation, provided assistance to people with disabilities in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The assistance included hearing aids, mobility aids, wheelchairs, and business capital. The event was held at the Marangkayu Public Meeting Hall on Wednesday (March 20, 2024).

In addition to providing direct assistance, the SLE Foundation also equipped people with disabilities with entrepreneurship training. “We are conducting entrepreneurship training in the Marangkayu District to open business opportunities for our friends with disabilities. Not only training, but we also provide business capital for our brothers and sisters. This way, we reduce unemployment rates and can improve the economic conditions of the disabled community,” said Ali Zakiyudin, the Chairperson of the SLE Foundation.

The SLE Foundation itself is an organization that operates in the humanitarian field with the aim of enhancing the effectiveness of activities related to Corporate Social Responsibility and making a positive contribution to the community.

On the other hand, Ambo Dalle, the head of the Marangkayu District, expressed gratitude to PT Sentosa Laju Energi and the SLE Foundation as the organizers of the event for their concern for people with disabilities.

Ali, commonly known as Ali Zakiyudin, stated that activities like this will continue and will be implemented in all areas that need assistance. “We will continue to carry out activities like this, and hopefully, we can reach all areas that require support,” Ali concluded. The event, which included sign language learning and entrepreneurship training for the disability group, was closed with a breaking of the fast together. (ebs)
